One of the challenges of this site was to plan around 8 plus acres of transmission line easement and flood
plain. The plan was successful in hiding the large steel towers that supported the high voltage power lines.
The undeveloped site had an existing drained lake. The developer chose to renovate the dam and restore
the lake and construct another lake just upstream. These lakes made a great addition to the amenity
package which included a 3.06 acre recreation area with swimming pool and two tennis courts and 7.6
acres of open space.
